( or a drawing of a friend or simply HOW you see pregnant women in general.

Please take your time here. We will use these drawings within the training- so it will enrich your own understanding and group dynamics.
This is not about your ability to draw. The intention here is to reflect upon your perception of pregnant woman – how you see them or yourself pregnant.
It can be a sketch, an abstract image, it may be colourful or simply in pencil. …anything. You don’t need to take all day…just a quiet moment.

-  Choose to express a theme of the book or topic as a creative artwork piece....You are only limited
here by your imagination. It can be a drawing, or you could make something. Along with your creative artwork

any other relevant information you would like to share!

Warm up asanas
Namaskars
1 or 2 active sequences
Cooling down
Shavasana

(You can draw stick figures, or write the sanskrit name/english name of the asana. No explanation of transitions necessary!!!)
Along with your class plan write a paragraph or two about it - How you chose a class theme/plan, how it relates to a topic or theme
from the book and your thoughts and feelings as you were planning the class. Include any other relevant information you would like to share!

In ancient cultures, ritual dances supported women passing from childhood into womanhood through the discovery of their own sexuality, and then into motherhood through pregnancy and birth. These original dances, which included elements of belly dance as we know it today, allowed women to appreciate the beauty of their own bodies and to find joy and pleasure in movement, while strengthening their bodies and self-confidence for the creation of a new life

Jade will join us to share her wisdom and knowledge with  how belly dance supports women during pregnancy and birth. She will offer some basic belly dance movements that can be easily integrated in a yoga class and will guide us through some improvisational dancing to support freeing the intuitive body. Finally we will all dance some easy steps in circle, feeling supported by each other and experiencing joy in movement and rhythm -  just as it was done in ancient cultures.

Jade will also teach some of the prenatal yoga classes during the training.
